Head Coach - Trevor Stewart
Trevor Stewart has been the Ice Dogs Head Coach since the 2011-12 season. Stewart came to Fairbanks after spending the previous year as an assistant coach for the St. Louis Bandits in the NAHL. During his season in St. Louis, the Bandits won the regular season North Division title and compiled the second best record in the league. He also helped 8 players secure Division 1 opportunities.
Prior to St. Louis, he spent two seasons as the Head Coach of the Missoula Maulers Tier III Junior A hockey team out of Missoula, Montana and the Northern Pacific Hockey League. Over the two years, the Missoula Maulers went 61-35 and qualified for the Cascade Cup Playoffs both seasons. During this time, ten Missoula players were recognized with all-league honors. Stewart was also selected as the head coach of the Northern Pacific Hockey League all-star team.

Paul Kirtland was named an Assistant Coach for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs for the 2013-14 season.

Head Scout - Eric Darwitz
Eric Darwitz has been a scout for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs since the 2010-2011 season. He was named Head Scout for the 2011-12 season.
Prior to becoming a scout, Mr. Darwitz spent three years at Shattuck-St. Mary's in Faribault, MN where he coached and recruited for the boys' and girls' hockey programs from 2006-2009. He also served as an Admissions Associate for the school.
Mr. Darwitz also has extensive experience coaching high school hockey. He coached the Marshall High School boys' team from 2001 to 2004 and the Park High School girls' hockey team from 2004 to 2006. Eric played collegiately at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN from 1997 to 2000. He currently resides in Woodbury, MN with wife Jodie and 18 month old twins, Dino and Delanie.

Southwest Region Scout - Ken Bouthiller
Ken Bouthillier is a native of Phoenix, AZ. At the age of 14, Ken left Phoenix to play in Minnesota for Shattuck St. Mary’s under former NHL All-Star, JP Parise. Ken finished his Midget AAA career in the Midwest Elite Hockey League for the Soo Indians in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Ken was drafted into the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League by the Halifax Mooseheads but chose to keep his college hockey eligibility and play for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. During Ken’s second year with the Ice Dogs, the team competed in their first Robertson Cup Tournament. Unfortunately, Ken's playing career was cut short by a career ending injury the following season.
Ken has coached in the NAHL, WSHL, NAPHL and Tier 1 Elite League. He currently coaches the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes Midget Program in the T1EHL. Ken attended Arizona State University and currently lives in Peoria, AZ where he works in Finance and Real Estate.
Midwest Region Scout - Chris Blaisuis
Michigan Region Scout - Mike Boucher
Mike Boucher is the Michigan Region Scout for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and has held that position since the 2011-2012 season. Prior to serving as a scout, Mike worked in various capacities for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. Mike's first NAHL experience was with the Soo Indians Jr. 'A' Team from 1995-1997.
Mike has coached youth hockey in his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie for the past nine years. Mike was also a level four USA Hockey Official for several years. In his playing days, Mike captained his Sault Area High squad to the Michigan State Hockey Finals. Mike was an All-State selection that season.
Mike resides in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan with his wife Laura.
